Australian media mogul James Packer found himself in a street fight with close pal David Gyngell, the chairman of Nine Entertainment Co., on May 4 in Sydney outside his home.
Packer split from wife Erica Baxter in September 2013 after six years of marriage and in December he was romantically linked to the 31-year-old supermodel months after her separation from husband Orlando Bloom.
James Packer and David Gyngell violently fought allegedly about Packer’s treatment of his ex.
The altercation with Gyngell was allegedly about Packer's treatment toward his estranged wife, with whom he shares three children. Model Miranda Kerr and billionaire James Packer reportedly got romantically involved in December 2013.
"He fully accepts that he was the instigator of the incident," a spokesman for Gyngell said in a statement.
"Clearly, had he not turned up at Packer's premises in an angry mood then the confrontation would never have occurred."
